New Vincennes University Athletic Director named

Vincennes University (VU) has announced that John Meeks will become the new athletic director at the school.

Meeks was approved at the VU Board of Trustees meeting this week in Jasper.

Meeks is currently the AD at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington. He was previously a college basketball coach.

He will begin his new duties at Vincennes University on Monday September 9. Meeks replaces longtime AD and Hall of Fame women's basketball coach Harry Meeks (no relation) in the position. Harry Meeks served for 33 years before retiring in June from both jobs.
