Congratulations to Lawrence County wrestler Delaney Ledbetter on a solid performance at the IHSA Class 1A Girls State Wrestling Finals this past weekend in Bloomington, Illinois.
Ledbetter, a junior, went 2-2 over the two days of competition in the 120-pound weight class. She lost 3-0 in her first match on Friday but rebounded with two straight decision wins by scores of 7-6 and 15-7 before dropping her final match on Saturday 9-1. She finishes the season with an overall mark of 16-8 and will return to continue her career next year.
