Lawrence County youth wrestlers medal in state competitions

Several Lawrence County young wrestlers captured medals in state tournament competitions this past weekend.

At the IKWF (Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation) meet in Peoria, Norah Shick won her second state title in the 90 pound class.

Kaimen Staley at 49 pounds and Hunter Magruder at 177 pounds both finished second.

Emery Crutchfield was 3rd at 125.

At the IESA (Illinois Elementary School Association) state meet at DeKalb, two Parkview-Red Hill Jr High grapplers won medals.

Dalton Baker was 3rd at 85 pounds and Jude DeCausey 4th at 185 pounds.
