Waldron was eight minutes away from advancing to the Edinburgh Sectional championship game Friday but North Decatur scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to secure a 60-52 victory.
Owen Rennekamp scored 11 of his game-high 17 points in the final eight minutes and the Chargers hit 11 of 15 free throws to take down the Mohawks.
Waldron led 12-7 after one quarter and 28-18 at halftime. Four different Mohawks scored in the third quarter to keep North Decatur at bay.
The Waldron lead was 43-38 after three quarters.
Brady Mauer hit two three-pointers in the third quarter and finished with 13 points. Mason Morris added 12.
Eli Stewart led Waldron (12-13) with 12 points. Lucas Shaw and Ethan Moody each scored nine and Max Jones had eight.
North Decatur (13-13) will face Edinburgh (13-12) in the sectional championship game Saturday night.
