The 2024 high school volleyball season began Monday for both the Lawrenceville Lady Indians and Red Hill Lady Salukis. The two county rivals faced each other in action at Lawrenceville High School and the hosts swept both matches. The Lady Indian junior varsity won 25-10, 25-11 and the varsity were winners 25-10, 25-5. The varsity victory was the first for new LHS head coach Bethany Ivers. The Lady Indians are back in action Tuesday night at Altamont. The Lady Salukis will make their home debut Tuesday evening when they host Hutsonville at Red Hill Junior/Senior High School in Bridgeport beginning at 6 p.m.
