The Lawrenceville Lady softball Indians closed up regular season play Saturday in the Richland County (Olney) Invitational Tournament and won one and lost one on the day. They lost to Farina South Central 3-1 and then won a slugfest 11-10 over Oblong. The split gives the squad a 10-17 record. Postseason play begins Monday as the Lady Indians will host a first round game in the Class 2A Flora Regional. They will meet the Vandalia Lady Vandals at 4:30 p.m. at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville. Illinois High School Association (IHSA) admission is $6.
