Congratulations to the Red Hill Lady Basketball Salukis. They are the 2024 Little Okaw Valley Conference tournament champions. They won the single day tournament Saturday at Palestine Grade School with two wins in the four team affair. They beat Martinsville 37-19 in their opening game with Baylee McDaniel scoring 12 points and Caitlee Gray 10. They returned later in the championship game and defeated host Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville (OPH) 46-32 with Gray scoring 14 to lead the way and McDaniel chipped in with 12. The two wins raises the Lady Salukis record to 11-10 overall. Their next scheduled action is at home Thursday against Dugger Union.
