Joe Luce out as head coach at Wawasee

Wawasee High School Athletic Director Brent Doty announced that Joe Luce is no longer the head boys basketball coach.

The move is effective immediately.

Assistant Coach Nate O’Connell has accepted the position of head boys basketball coach.

O’Connell began his career with Wawasee in 2008.

No information was released as to what led to the change.

Luce came to Wawasee from Tippecanoe Valley. The Warriors are 12-6. Luce is 404 -172 in 24 years as a head coach.
