The Lawrenceville Basketball Indians used a combination of suffocating defense and poor shooting by the Mules Friday night to handily beat Fairfield 51-29 in non-conference play at Fairfield. The Tribe scored the first 9 points of the game and led 14-2 after one quarter and 26-5 at the half enroute to win number 9 in a row. Two in double figures for the Indians-Maddux Pargin with 15 and Landon Sanders had 13. The Indian JV ran their record to 9-0 as they outlasted the Mules 48-45. Jayden Goff scored 23 points in his return from injury and Noah Wilson added 17. The Indian freshman lost 37-25. The varsity Indians are now 13-2 overall and will be back at home Tuesday for more non-conference play against Louisville (North Clay).
