High school is about creating some special memories to keep with you forever.
Rochester Zebra junior Carson Paulik earned one of those on Wednesday.
Paulik pitched an 8-inning no-hitter, as the Zebras defeated Manchester 2-0.
Paulik struck out 10 while just walking two batters in the complete game win.
The game stayed scoreless through seven innings of regulation play. The Zebras finally broke the ice in the top of the eighth, when Linden Wilburn scored on a Tanner Reinartz sacrifice fly. Brady Coleman later scored on a Squire error.
Paulik, Zakk Parks, Conner Dunfee, Callen Ferverda, and Drew Bowers each had a hit.
The Zebras (12-1, 3-0 TRC) will take a four-game win streak into a home game Friday with Carroll for a 5:30 p.m. first pitch. Rochester and Northwestern (2-0) are the only undefeated teams left in conference play.
The Zebras have outscored opponents 108-35 this season.
Manchester (8-6, 2-1 TRC) has dropped four of five.
