Terry L. Pfeiffer, 78, of Rochester, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away on Tuesday, May 12 at 6:16 AM in Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne.
On May 27, 1947, Terry L. Notz was born in Rochester to Richard and Helen Kindig Notz. She was the firstborn, sharing her childhood with her sister Pat and two brothers Rick and Joe. A lifetime resident of Rochester, Terry proudly graduated with the Rochester High School Class of 1965 and continued to enjoy lunches with her classmates throughout the years. She served as Deputy Clerk for the Fulton County Clerk’s Office in Rochester.
On October 21, 1967, Terry was joined in marriage to Wallace E. Pfeiffer at St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester. From this union, two beautiful daughters were born, and the family tree grew to include the blessings of two wonderful grandchildren.
Terry’s life was filled with active participation in attending the many sporting activities of her brothers and nephews and she braved the elements of the weather to be the family cheerleader. In her quiet moments, Terry was an avid reader and enjoyed daily I-Pad activities, especially playing Words with Friends and working puzzles. Above all, Terry enjoyed spending time and bonding with her grandchildren as much as possible.
Left to cherish the beautiful memories of Terry are her husband, Wally; two daughters, Jody McCall (Matt) and Alison Pfeiffer; two grandchildren, Grady and Ashly McCall all of Rochester; sister, Patricia Zehr (Ben) of Franklin; two brothers, Richard Notz (Karen) and Joe Notz (Angie) all of Rochester; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death are her parents and grandson, Austin Wyatt McCall.

Friends may visit with the family from 12:00-2:00 PM with service immediately following at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
