Katherine (Kathy) M. Gore, 60, of Shelbyville, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 2nd, 2026, at IU Health.
She was born May 1st, 1966, in Shelbyville to George and Jane (McKinney) Spurling.
Kathy graduated from Shelbyville High School with the class of 1984. She spent her life as a devoted homemaker and worked in the restaurant industry. In her free time, she enjoyed being outside in nature, often doing various yard work, and especially enjoyed spending time in the Florida sun and on the beach. Kathy was an avid animal lover and leaves behind her beloved dog, Aphrodite. Her most cherished times were spent making memories with her friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Haley Baldelli (husband, Tino); granddaughter, Alyssandra Baldelli; step-grandchildren, Valentino Baldelli and Cathryn Baldelli; brother, Christopher W. Spurling; special friend, Michelle Dillard, who shared a close bond and many years of friendship with Kathy; and devoted ex-husband, Troy Skinner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mandy Piercy.
A graveside service will take place Monday, November 16th, 2026, at 11 a.m. in Forest Hill Cemetery.
