There will be no need for water rate increase for the city of Vincennes in the near future. That was the assessment of a four year study presented to the city council Monday night at City Hall. The study was produced by the consulting firm of Crowe and Associates. Despite the findings, the company did indicate that probable within the next five years, some sort of rate increase would be neccessary for system maintainence. The report was given as part of an overall assessment by the Vincennes Water Utilities.
