Bridgeport Police have concluded their investigation regarding the incident that occurred Friday, September 25th at Red Hill Junior/Senior High School and surrounding properties in Bridgeport.
Authorities had received initial information concerning the possible involvement of a firearm during Homecoming activities. But after conducting interviews and reviewing video, it was determined that was no evidence of a firearm or any other weapon being possessed, displayed, or used during the incident.
However, the investigation did result in two juveniles being preliminarily charged with Assault and Battery in connection with the situation. No information regarding their identities will be released.
Bridgeport Police were assisted in the investigation by the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Lawrenceville Police Department and Red Hill Unit #10 administration and staff, along with members of the general public.
