Sunday afternoon, the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center broadcast a report of a single-vehicle accident involving a red truck somewhere on Lincoln Highway between Bourbon and Plymouth.
At about 3:30 p.m., County officers and a Bourbon Police Officer responded to locate the accident. Officers located a vehicle matching the description along the side of the roadway.
During Deputy Truty’s investigation, it was discovered that the driver, 35-year-old Trent D Ross of Lincoln Highway in Bourbon, was exhibiting signs of alcohol intoxication.
Ross was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .15% or more and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated endangering. He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
