Clark County (Ill.) authorities have now released the identity of a male subject who was struck by a train in the city of Casey last week.
The coroner's office say he is 33-year-old David Hawkins of Casey.
Hawkins was hit while walking near the railroad tracks Main and Southeast Eighth Streets early on June 24. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
