A call about a reckless driver netted drugs off the street and the arrest of a Blanford, Indiana man this week in Rockville.
According to documents, officers responded to a call of an individual heading to Rockville driving recklessly. Immediately, an officer with the Rockville Police Department observed the vehicle and initiated a traffick stop near the intersection of U.S. 36 and U.S. 41.
Officers located meth, drug paraphernalia and marijuana in the vehicle and noted the driver, Jace Jones, 22, of Blandford, was driving under the influence.
Jones was consequently placed under arrest and transported to the Parke County Jail on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, a level 6 Felony, Possession of Marijuana, a Misdemeanor, and Operating a Vehicle with a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance in blood, a Misdemeanor.
