Jack Townsend is back at his seasonal produce market at 803 E Ninth St in Rochester.
Open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the market provides fresh southern Indiana produce including watermelon, sweet onions, green beans, tomatoes, zucchini's and more. Townsend also provides locally grown cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and later in the season, sweet corn.

Carrying a passion for providing produce to the community, Townsend first started selling produce as a child with his parents at the Peru Farmer's Market. Previously owning the former Townsend IGA located at 901 E. Ninth St., Townsend has been set up at his current location for the past five years.
Having a love for people, produce, and Fulton County, 84-year-old Townsend hopes for many more summers in the future selling produce to the community where everyone knows his name.
