An investigation into a stolen motorcycle from a residence resulted in the arrest of one individual and information about another individual was turned over to the Parke County Prosecutor.
According to a report from the Parke County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a call about the theft of a 2022 Royal Enfield motorcycle from a residence in Mecca on June 1.
Four days later, deputies arrested Kelsea Nichole Moore, 32, of Mecca, for one count of auto theft (a Level 6 felony) and one count of false informing (a misdemeanor). Moore was arrested and booked in the Parke County Jail.
Deputies also identified a second individual: John Henry Koonce, 34, of Oaktown, Indiana. Information regarding the case against Koonce was transferred to Parke County Prosecutor Steve Cvengros.
The Parke County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Knox County Sheriff's Department and the motorcycle was recovered in Oaktown on June 5.
