The St. Francisville City Council will return to a familiar location in the near future.
They voted Wednesday to move their regular monthly meetings from their current location in the former Emmanuel Tabernacle building at 810 Main Street back to the old St. Francisville school, where they had met previously until moving to the new location due to building safety concerns.
The main reason for the move were for more convenience regarding getting necessary information from the city offices, which are still located there during meeting dates.
Repairs will be made to the roof and other areas of the school over the next several days and weeks in preparation for the move. An exact timetable as to when the move will occur was not given
