Shelby County EMA has cooling centers open this week for anyone who needs relief from the heat.

The following list includes locations and hours they are open.

Shelby County Public Library

Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Friday, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

SCPL, Velma Wortman Branch - Morristown

Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Shelbyville Salvation Army (dining hall)

Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

American Legion in Shelbyville

Tuesday - Thursday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Friday - Saturday, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Sunday, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Shelbyville Veterans of Foreign Wars

Tuesday - Saturday, 2 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Boba Café

Tuesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Sunshine House Community Center

Tuesday, June 30, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
