State Representative Jack Jordan (R-Bremen) is urging eligible Indiana businesses to apply for the Governor's Century and Half Century Business Awards before the May 29th deadline.
"Behind every great Indiana community are businesses that have stood the test of time," Jordan said in a recent release. "I encourage any eligible business to apply for the award so they can get much-deserved recognition for decades of perseverance and unconditional commitment to their communities."
The Governor's Century and Half Century Business Awards recognize Hoosier businesses that have remained in continuous operation for a minimum of 50 or 100 consecutive years and have demonstrated a strong commitment to community service.
Indiana companies that have been in operation for 50 to 99 years and meet the program criteria are eligible for the Half Century Award, while those in operation for 100 years or more qualify for the prestigious Century Award. A company may only receive state recognition under each award category one time, though Half Century Award recipients may later qualify for the Century Award when they reach the 100-year milestone.
Businesses receiving the 2026 Governor's Century and Half Century Business Awards will be honored at a ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse later this year.
Eligible companies are encouraged to complete the online application no later than Friday, May 29th. For more information, visit the Governor’s website here.
