Information received from the public about the cultivation of marijuana at a Monroe City location has led to the arrest of a Knox County (Ind.) man on multiple charges.
The Knox County Sheriff's Department says that on Sunday, July 6th, deputies served a search warrant on property located on East Lucky Point Road near Wheatland. Discovered at the location were several growing marijuana plants, processed marijuana, THC gummies, smoking devices and several firearms.
Taken into custody was 58-year-old Kenneth Baize. He was transported to the Knox County Jail and has been preliminarily charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon, a Level 4 Indiana felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Level 6 Indiana felony, Possession of a Legend Drug, a Level 6 felony and Possession of Marijuana, a Class B Indiana misdemeanor. Baize was being held on $15,000 bond.
The case remains under investigation with more arrests anticipated.
