Preparations are continuing for the upcoming general election in Lawrence County (Ill.).
Election Authority and Lawrence County Clerk Will Gibson has announced that the public test of the vote tabulation equipment to be used by the county on November 3rd, 2026, will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20th.
The testing will occur at the County Clerk's Office located in the Lawrence County Courthouse at 1100 State Street in Lawrenceville. The testing is required by state election officials and is open to the general public and representatives of both the Democratic and Republican Parties in the county to ensure the integrity of the local election process.
