Plymouth Public Library hosts Free Car Cruise-In Thursday as Part of "Mission Readpossible", the Summer Reading Program

The Plymouth Public Library is bringing a little horsepower to its summer reading program this week, hosting a FREE Car Cruise-In at River Park Square in downtown Plymouth this Thursday, June 25th, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The cruise-in is part of the library's 2026 Summer Reading Program, themed "Mission Readpossible" — a fun spin on the Mission Impossible franchise designed to inspire kids and adults alike to keep reading through the summer months. The program runs from May 27th through July 15th, with participants encouraged to read a minimum of 400 minutes to be eligible for prizes.

Thursday evening's event promises a festive atmosphere with popcorn, crafts, food trucks, root beer floats, and a getaway game scavenger hunt — all free to the public. Car enthusiasts and casual attendees alike are welcome to roll in and enjoy an evening of great vehicles and great company in the heart of downtown Plymouth.
