A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday night after a traffic stop revealed he was driving with a suspended license, according to the Plymouth Police Department.

Officer Wallace conducted a traffic stop at approximately 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, in the area of Veterans Parkway and Michigan Road. An automated license plate reader alert indicated the registered owner of the pickup truck had a suspended driver's license.

The driver was identified as David Chupp, 49, of Plymouth, who was confirmed to be the owner of the vehicle.

Chupp was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on a preliminary charge of Driving While Suspended-Prior. Bond was set at $500 cash.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges mentioned are allegations, and defendants have the right to a trial.
