Operation Quiet Comfort is gearing up for its upcoming "Celebrate & Support Our Troops" fundraiser, scheduled for Thursday, April 16. The event promises a fun-filled evening dedicated to a great cause, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to support military personnel.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Operation Quiet Comfort's past, present, and future initiatives while enjoying a delicious pulled pork dinner. The pork for the meal is being generously provided by Mission BBQ.
What makes this fundraiser truly unique is that absolutely everything for the event has been donated—from the food and desserts to the silverware, cups, and placemats. Because all overhead costs have been covered by generous donors, every single dollar from ticket sales and auction purchases goes straight to supporting the troops.
Organizers proudly note that despite rising costs elsewhere, ticket prices for this event have not gone up. Admission is $50 per person, or attendees can reserve a table of eight for $400. Those wishing to reserve a full table must do so by April 13.
With the event just days away, Operation Quiet Comfort is still actively seeking volunteers to help run the evening, noting that there are many different opportunities available. The organization is also still accepting donations and items for the event's auction.
Tickets are available now. To purchase tickets, donate auction items, or inquire about volunteer opportunities, please contact Jan at 574-936-1424 or via email at janh@operationquietcomfort.com.
