Authorities in Daviess County Indiana report one man is dead after an apparent argument led to a shooting incident on Labor Day. Around 8:15 p.m, Monday, the sheriffs department was notified that a male subject had entered a rural residential drive at a location on Indiana State Road 257, north of the river bridge. The man then began to argue with the male homeowner. Both men were armed and shots were fired and one of the individuals was killed. The investigation into the circumstances continues. No other information, including the name of the deceased, has been released. Results of the investigation will be forwarded to the Daviess County Prosecutors office with potential charges pending.
