Additional charges have been filed against a wanted out of county man after being picked up over the weekend by the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department.
20-year-old Chanse Stoops of Edgewood llinois was being sought on warrants issued out of Lawrence County Circuit Court for Theft and Residential Burglary. Once in custody early on Friday, April 24th, it was discovered that he had violated probation and was charged with 5 additional counts of Probation Violation. He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held there for trial after appearing for a detention hearing.
