Plymouth Police Officers were dispatched to 1213 South Michigan Street on Thursday, July 4th at 2:20 in the afternoon for a verbal domestic between 40-year-old Edward Haines and wife Krista Haines.
While Officers were there Krista Haines’ sister, 35-year-old Misty Masterson of Shalley Drive in Plymouth arrived to pick up Krista Haines and her children to leave the residence.
Before leaving the South Michigan Street residence Masterson exited her vehicle and began battering Edward Haines in front of the officer.
Misty Masterson was subsequently taken into custody for the battery and transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was lodged with a $250 cash bond with an August 6, court date in Superior II.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
