Marshall County EMA Director Jack Garner expects additional snowfall later today, though he does expect the total to be less than what we got on Sunday. Probably 2 to 4" of new snow beginning this afternoon and lasting into the late evening.
County and city roads are treacherous this morning due to black ice and heavy snowpack. Drivers should use extra caution. The Marshall County Central Dispatch Center has received numerous slide-off reports.
The Marshall County Travel Advisory will remain in effect until at least tomorrow morning, when conditions will be reassessed.
