The Marshall County Historical Society & Museum is inviting the community to a night of history, fun, and friendly gaming as it presents its 3rd Annual Casino Night Fundraiser, "Boots & Bowties," on Thursday, June 19th at The REES Theatre.
The evening's theme transports guests back to the infamous Huckleberry Marsh of the 1880s — a historic boom town right here in Marshall County. Western attire is strongly encouraged for the occasion.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and guests can look forward to a full evening of casino-style gaming, including craps, blackjack, poker, and roulette. The evening also features a catered meal, desserts, live music and entertainment, and a chance to meet the legendary Huckleberry Queen. A cash bar will be available throughout the event.
A Silent Auction will also take place, featuring a wide variety of items donated by local businesses and community members. Sponsorship opportunities for both the event and the auction are still available for interested businesses and individuals.
Tickets are just $50 per person and include food, desserts, music, live entertainment, and $25 in gaming chips. Tickets are limited and are on sale now at the museum.
Proceeds from the evening will help fund the Historical Society's community programming and important technology upgrades as the organization continues its mission of preserving and sharing Marshall County's rich history for generations to come.
