The male, later identified as Kyle Abney, 30, was located in the suspect vehicle.
Vigo County deputies were dispatched to the Willow Crossings Apartments in reference to a subject with a weapon.
Upon arrival at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, deputies learned the altercation was between two neighbors. Individuals on scene advised deputies a knife was displayed prior to their arrival. The same individuals stated the suspect had fled the scene.
Deputies were able to quickly identify the vehicle and it was soon after located in Clinton by Vermillion County deputies. The male, later identified as Kyle Abney, 30, was located in the suspect vehicle. Abney was taken into custody and transported back to the Vigo County Sheriff's Office.
Abney was originally from Crawfordsville, but had recently moved to the Terre Haute area. He was booked into the Vigo County Jail and charged with Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon and Battery with Moderate Bodily Injury.
At this time, charges are based on the original altercation between Abney and his neighbor.
None of those involved needed medical treatment at a hospital.
