Members of the Marshall County Plan Commission will conduct a public meeting concerning the position of County Plan Director.
On Jan. 6, the Marshall County Plan Commission hired Lydia Dutton from Starke County to fill the vacancy left when Ty Adley submitted his resignation effective Nov. 30.
A four-member committee, President of the Board of Zoning Appeals Jeff Gustafson, President of the Plan Commission Dave Hostetler, County Commissioner Stan Klotz, and County Council member and County Plan Commission member Deb Johnson reviewed the resumes to narrow down the field.
Dutton was selected for interview by the entire Plan Commission. Following her interview, five members of the County Plan Commission attended a special meeting on Jan. 6. They conducted a public interview before voting to hire Dutton as the new County Plan Director.
The public meeting on Monday at 6 p.m. will be held in Room 207 of the County Building. The notice provides no additional information on the nature of the meeting.
