Logansport Memorial Hospital has implemented a mask policy for staff and visitors.
The policy and the illness rates that forced its implementation will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Earlier this month, due to a significant rise in respiratory infections like RSV, influenza, and COVID-19 in our community, Logansport Memorial Hospital implemented visitor restrictions to protect our patients, visitors, and employees.
- Only two healthy adult visitors per patient are allowed at a time.
- No children or siblings under 18 are permitted to visit.
- Frequent handwashing with soap and water is encouraged. Foam sanitizer dispensers are available throughout the hospital.
- Visitors experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, or other respiratory or stomach-related symptoms should not visit and will be asked to leave if ill.
- Patients with these symptoms must wear a mask when entering the building.
Visitors are asked to prioritize your health and the health of others when deciding to visit. If feeling unwell, postpone a visit until better.
