The REES Theatre invites the community to celebrate a milestone in American history this Saturday, July 25th, as the Lincoln Chamber Ensemble takes the stage for American Celebration 250!, a special evening of live orchestral music honoring the nation's 250th anniversary. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.

Led by Deacon Tim Woods, the 17-piece ensemble will perform a stirring program of patriotic marches, beloved American classics, and uplifting orchestral arrangements celebrating the history, spirit, and traditions of the United States. The concert promises something for audiences of all ages — whether you're a longtime fan of live orchestral music, a proud supporter of American heritage, or simply looking for a memorable evening out in Plymouth's historic downtown theatre.

Adding a special hometown touch to the evening, REES Theatre Director Janet MacKay-Galbraith will be performing alongside the ensemble as the piccolo player. The theatre is encouraging attendees to come out and cheer on their own director as part of what promises to be a truly meaningful night for the community.

Tickets are available at a special rate of two for $25, making it an ideal outing to share with a friend or loved one. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Na Rie Simple Treasures, 104 North Michigan Street in Plymouth, online through Eventbrite, or at the Everwise Box Office the night of the show.

American Celebration 250! is made possible in part through the generous sponsorship of U.S. Granules Corporation.
