LEGO® Fans Food Drive

Calling all LEGO fans! 

Help us restock the shelves of the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry as we celebrate the 68^th anniversary of the LEGO Building Block, which was introduced on January 28, 1958. 

The annual LEGO Birthday Bash! will be held on Sunday, February 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Putnam County Museum, 1105 North Jackson Street in Greencastle. 

Enjoy amazing creations and displays from the brick artists and engineers of the Indiana LEGO^® Users Group (IndyLUG), as well as collections from some of our local LEGO^® fans.   Displays scheduled include LEGO® City townscapes, an aquarium, winter-scape, lighthouse, as well as planes, trains and automobiles!  Some of the MOC’s (My Own Creations) that will be in attendance include a Wild Wild Western village, the home from Little House on the Prairie, Independence Hall, and possibly scenes from Indiana Jones. 

In addition, soccer fields and basketball courts from the LEGO^® Sports Collection will be available for play.  The event will include a silent auction for LEGO^® Marvel Infinity Saga – Avengers Helicarrier, special LEGO^® mini-figures and bricks.

Hosted by the Putnam County Museum, and sponsored by Humphrey’s Outdoor Power, Prime Real Estate, DePauw University Bonner Scholars, Lost Hollow Beer Company, Marvin’s Restaurant, Pacific & Eastern Model Railroad Club, Walmart Distribution Center 6022, IndyLUG and Brickworld, this special event will be held as a LEGO^® Fans Food Drive for Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry. 

Admission is one (1) non-perishable food item or donation per person.
