Lawrenceville Police active in January

Lawrenceville Police Chief Jim White has issued his monthly departmental activity report for January.

The city received 325 requests for an officer during the month.

They responded to:

8 domestic interventions

7 mental health calls

4 cases of child abuse and neglect

Officers were involved in:

13 drug investigations

9 assault and battery investigations

4 theft cases

Lawrenceville police did handle 10 traffic accidents:

8 involved property damage

1 personal injury

1 hit and run
