A 23-year-old Knox resident was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after arriving at the Marshall County Probation Department with an active warrant.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, Officer Krynock was dispatched to the probation office at approximately 2:12 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29th. Upon arrival, the officer arrested Dominic Shadrix, of Locus Drive in Knox.
Shadrix was subsequently transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he is being held for violating the conditions of his probation.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
