The Plymouth Community School Corporation English as a New Language (ENL) team, the Marshall County Health Department, and members of Marshall County Kids Expo are partnering to host a one-day celebration of children and culture.
Families are encouraged to attend this year’s Día del Niño celebration and the Marshall County Kids Expo. These two events will combine into one exciting event, and this collaborative effort promises a fun-filled day celebrating children, culture, and community resources.
What is Día del Niño? Día del Niño, or "Children's Day," is a cherished tradition celebrated in many Latin American countries. This special day honors children and promotes their well-being through fun, learning, and cultural appreciation. The Plymouth Community School Corporation is proud to bring this tradition to our community, providing a space where families can gather and celebrate our students in a meaningful way.
What is the Kids Expo? The Marshall County Kids Expo is an annual event designed to connect families with information about local activities, camps, and services available for children throughout the summer and year-round. Attendees can explore opportunities in sports, arts, and education, ensuring parents are informed about enriching experiences for their kids.
Highlights of the event include games, prizes, and fun activities for the whole family. Information on camps, activities, and services available in Marshall County will be available. Free health services provided by the Marshall County Health Department, including physicals, hearing, vision, dental, and lead screenings will happen and there will be delicious food from local food trucks, including Chagos Tacos, Alegria Campestre, Pa'L Antojo, and Apex Ice
This event will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, from noon to 5 PM at the Lincoln Junior High School on Gibson Street in Plymouth. Participants should enter through Door # 12.
