It's another arrest for a man for misuse of 911.
Plymouth Police arrested a resident of the Economy Inn at 2535 North Michigan Street in Plymouth on Sunday.
Officers from the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched twice to the Economy Inn within a short time frame when Jonathan Kemp, 26, made the calls to 911. It was determined that neither call was an emergency.
Kemp is known for a history of using 911 in non-emergency situations; in fact, he was arrested on August 23 for misuse of 911 and issued warnings to stop.
Kemp was taken into custody, transported to the Marshall County Jail, and booked for misuse of 911. He was held on a $500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
