James Carlisle IV arrested for residential entry

On June 28th at 3:10 in the morning, Plymouth Police were dispatched to a home on Hillcrest Avenue for a 911 call of a male subject entering a home.

During their investigation it was discovered that 32-year-old James Carlisle IV had caused a disturbance at the front door of the residence until the homeowner answered. At the time of the door opening Carlisle pushed his way inside where he was held by the homeowners until the police arrived.

James Carlisle was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
