The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Deshawn A. Smith Jr., 24, Indianapolis, was arrested Friday on preliminary charges of theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana, driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years and driving without ever obtaining a license. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at U.S. 31 and County Road 550 North and held on a $7,500 surety or $1,000 cash bond.

• Cornelius D. Benson, 26, Indianapolis, was arrested Friday on a preliminary charge of possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody with Smith during a traffic stop and later released on his own recognizance.

• Everett S. Miller, 60, Philadelphia, Pa., was arrested Saturday on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. He was taken into custody by city police at Pilot Travel Center, 389 Rochester Crossing Drive, and held on a $2,500 surety or $500 cash bond.

• Felicia D. Sutton, 44, Denver, was arrested Sunday on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle and possession of marijuana. She was additionally arrested on a warrant charging her with probation revocation on an original charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at Burns Tire Service, 6093 S. Old U.S. 31, Macy, and held without bond.
