Overall, central Indiana homebuyers entered the fall market with more choices in September as available inventory increased nearly 19% compared to a year ago, while home values remained steady, according to F.C. Tucker Company.
- With 2,511 homes leaving the market, pended home sales decreased 12.4% compared to September 2025 and decreased 15.6% compared to last month

”The fall market typically brings a more measured pace, but there are still many opportunities for both buyers and sellers across central Indiana,” said Jim Litten, CEO of F.C. Tucker Company. “For buyers, there are significantly more homes available than there were a year ago, creating more choice in a market where mortgage rates have made affordability an important consideration. Home values are also continuing to grow, giving sellers a solid foundation as we move through the remainder of the year.”
