The investigation continues into the fatal crash of an Indianapolis woman.
Law enforcement and emergency personnel were called just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday to I-65 near Taylorsville. A 2025 Nissan Rogue left the right side of the interstate and struck a concrete barrier. It then went down an embankment, overturned and the driver, Amanda Seguin, 35, was ejected.
Seguin was declared dead at the scene.
Indiana State Police report it’s unknown what caused the vehicle to leave the road. The preliminary report indicates Seguin was not believed to be wearing a seatbelt and that drugs and / or alcohol may be a contributing factor in the crash.
