An Indianapolis woman was stopped early Monday morning near U.S. 31 and Veterans Parkway and arrested for driving while suspended.
On October 21st, at approximately 12:09 AM, Officer Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on a white 2015 Chevrolet Malibu on U.S. 31. During the officer’s investigation, he found that 47-year-old Katrina A. Wilson of Indianapolis was operating with a driving status of suspended - prior. She was also found to be in possession of suspected marijuana.
Wilson was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for possession of marijuana, and driving while suspended with a prior. She was held on a $500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
