An Indianapolis man was arrested Sunday evening after allegedly causing a disturbance at a LaPaz gas station, including going behind the employee counter while appearing heavily intoxicated.
Marshall County Police responded to the Speedway Gas Station at the intersection of U.S. 6 and Michigan Road in LaPaz at approximately 7:34 p.m. on December 7th.
Employees reported that a man was being hostile, yelling at customers and staff, and had gone behind the employee counter—an area restricted to authorized personnel only.
When officers arrived, they located the suspect, Bryan L. Pedigo, 54, across the street at another gas station.
Upon investigation, Officer Wozniak determined that Pedigo was heavily intoxicated and had been causing a disturbance at the Speedway location.
Pedigo was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was booked in for public intoxication by alcohol and held on a $250 cash bond until 4 A.M. Monday.

Pedigo is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Any charges filed are allegations based on probable cause, and he is entitled to legal representation and a trial by jury.
