The Indiana State USBC (United States Bowling Congress) Bowling Association is bringing 5,000 athletes to Fort Wayne for the 2025 Adult Open Championship Tournament from February 15 - May 11, 2025. The 12 weekend-long event (excluding Easter weekend) will take place at Pro Bowl West, expecting to see 500 athletes and attendees every Friday and Saturday.
This is the first time for this event to be back in Fort Wayne since 2014 and follows the 2024 Youth Championship Tournament hosted in Fort Wayne for 7 weekends last year, setting the stage for planners to choose Fort Wayne for this year's events.
Brian Nunning, Association Manager of the Indiana State USBC says, "The Indiana State USBC is thrilled to be back in Fort Wayne with our 2025 Adult Open Championship event. Fort Wayne has many great bowlers and always supports our events with large turnouts. We thank Visit Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne Metro USBC, and Pro Bowl West for hosting us this year."
Opportunities like this showcase Fort Wayne as a highly desirable sports tournament destination. "We are excited to welcome Indiana State USBC back to Fort Wayne for another Championship event," says Jazmin Zavala, Sports Sales Manager at Visit Fort Wayne. "Having a long history of professional and amateur bowlers from our community greatly helps enhance the athlete experience."
