The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host the second of three Free Fishing Days for 2025 this weekend.
The second Free Fishing Days are Saturday and Sunday. On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to cast a line on the state’s public waters.
All other rules, such as season limits, bag and size restrictions, apply.
The final Free Fishing Days will be held on September 27.
DNR says these present an excellent opportunity to learn how to fish, take your family fishing, or introduce a friend to fishing.
