Howard County deputies responded to a reported burglary in progress Thursday and now would like the public's help to identify the suspect.
Just after 3 p.m. Thursday, the Howard County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible burglary in progress in the 400 block of North Union Street in Russiaville. Upon arrival, deputies noticed forced entry into the rear of the residence leading into a mud room. It was learned the suspect was not able to make it into the living area of the house from this room and nothing appeared to be taken.
The suspect (pictures from home surveillance camera) is a white male with facial hair who was wearing blue jeans, a dark gray sweatshirt with red lettering and a dark colored sock hat.

The Howard County Sheriff's Office explains that they are aware these pictures have already been shared a lot on various social media platforms and thank people for that as it does lead to more exposure; however, if a name is mentioned please contact the Sheriff’s Office directly by one of the below options.
